1. What Traena is

Traena is a marketplace that connects clients with independent fitness coaches in Denmark and the United States. Coaches offer their services through the app; clients can match, chat, book and pay for sessions. Traena is not a party to the coaching relationship itself: coaches are independent professionals, not employees or agents of Traena.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Traena. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information. Coach profiles in particular must truthfully describe qualifications and experience.

3. Bookings and payments

Session payments are processed by Stripe. Traena charges coaches a commission on completed sessions as described in the app. Sessions can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start; later cancellations may not be refunded. Disputes between clients and coaches should first be reported through the app.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Traena to harass, discriminate, defraud or spam; do not post content that is illegal, sexually explicit or infringes others' rights; do not attempt to move payments off-platform to avoid commission; do not probe or disrupt the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

5. Health disclaimer

Coaching involves physical activity, which carries inherent risk. Consult a doctor before starting a new training programme. Coaches are responsible for the advice they give; Traena does not verify medical suitability of any programme.

6. Liability

Traena provides the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, Traena is not liable for indirect losses, for the conduct of users, or for the outcome of coaching services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Sections that by nature survive termination (liability, disputes) survive.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes belong to the Danish courts. If you live in the United States, this does not take away mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your state of residence.
